for anyone at the trans-siberian orchestra show last night...
well i has been there since 8am to cook for these guys. Nicest guys ever!
at one point i sat to eat with my friend mel in the dining room and she is speaking to her friend Johnny Lee Middleto formerly from the band Savatage (now TSO) and the lead guitar player(for TSO) Alex Skolnick from TESTAMENT!!!
side note: did you know that Eric Peterson (lead guitar in Testament) also played with Dragonlord and Old Man's Child???
how cool is that!!!!???!!!!
anyways. as i was eating i realy didn"t have a clue who Johnny was, but i knew who Alex was so from there i introduced myself.
it was very casual and we were both stuffing our faces with pork tenderloin and greens talking about Candlemass and other good european metal for about an hour. dudes were real cool.......................but..........
i though the show was lame!!!! the 2nd half though, it was...ok. Metal enough for me to like it.
i was walking in and out of the backstage area all day watching them warm up which was better than the show because they all shred like they were from hell while warming up, so sick. the drummer(Jeff Plate from Savatage and Metal Church) had a lame-ass roland set. he could have been turned up a but IMO but whatev!

BTW...for anyone that paid, WHY!? i could have gotten at LEAST 5 free passes.

this is a live album(duh) but this is their BEST albums. sounds the best and has the best tracks.

the track piecemaker is so different for them but sooo good.
i also, suggest the new album Xenosapien.

oh how the dirty cards of life are played out.
at the loss of one of my jobs my other has picked up right when i needed it to.

i was woke up with a voice mail from my superior telling me that because i am no long affiliated with The Dish that she would like to take me on a sort road trip, completely paid for and i don't have to drive.
um, yeah?
so from the 29th till the 2nd i'll be gone. and then on the 3rd its NIN in g'boro.
what else is awesome is this long awaited album i've been addicted to:
